{"id":326,"date":"2008-06-03T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2008-06-03T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.innovationanthology.com\/import\/2018\/02\/01\/innovation-anthology-139-professor-university-of-alberta-and-gastroenterologist\/"},"modified":"2018-02-25T21:29:54","modified_gmt":"2018-02-25T21:29:54","slug":"innovation-anthology-139-professor-university-of-alberta-and-gastroenterologist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.innovationanthology.com\/import\/2008\/06\/03\/innovation-anthology-139-professor-university-of-alberta-and-gastroenterologist\/","title":{"rendered":"Innovation Anthology #139: Professor, University of Alberta and Gastroenterologist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/innovationanthology.com\/uploads\/Innovation Anthology 139.mp3\">Download MP3 Link<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The term nano is quickly moving into the consumer lexicon.&nbsp; We already have nano attached to anti-wrinkle cremes and mp3 players.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And it won&rsquo;t be long before the paper we write on or the houses we build are also nano-ized.<\/p>\n<p>That&rsquo;s the prediction of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Dr. Ted Wegner<\/span> of the Forest Products Laboratory with the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">USDA Forest Servic<\/span>e in Madison, Wisconsin. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He was in Edmonton recently as a panelist at the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Alberta Ingenuity <\/span>forum on <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Nanotechnology and the Forest Industry.<\/span><br style=\"font-style: italic;\" \/><br \/>Dr. Wegner predicts <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">nanotechnology<\/span> will provide a whole new range of value-added and multi-functional products based on wood and cellulose. &nbsp;<br \/><br style=\"font-weight: bold;\" \/><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">DR.
