And this year it won the Fast Growth category.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nAs well, Dr. Everett is now the first woman to have won the TEC VenturePrize.\n<\/p>\n<p><b><br \/>\nDR BREANNE EVERETT : <\/b><em> Over the process of tonight, I have actually been approached by a number of women who in various ways are helping to bridge the gap between women and technology.  And so it&#8217;s really great to see this growing trend and this growing group of supporters of that.  So I think it just sort of emphasizes that and it&#8217;s great.  <\/em>\n<\/p>\n<p>\nDr. Breanne Everett says the TEC VenturePriize of $100,000 in cash and in-kind services will help grow the company.\n<\/p>\n<p><b><br \/>\nDR. BREANNE EVERETT: <\/b><em> We are currently ramping up for commercialization of our first product, the SurroSense RX.  That will be commercialized by late summer.
