It\u2019s a user friendly<b> hardened fluorescent spectrometer. <\/b>And if it\u2019s not exactly a lab on a chip, it\u2019s certainly a lab in a suitcase.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nCompany president <b>Dr. Ken Schmidtt<\/b>offers this description.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<b>DR KEN SCHMIDT: <\/b><em> We using pelican style case and all of the equipment you need to run it, including a little netbook computer that runs the software. It all fits in the case.  And it even comes with a GPS unit that attaches to the computer as well so that when you are out in the field, you get the location, time and date that you took the samples.  And in fact, the software is set up like a laboratory notebook so you don\u2019t actually have to take any paper notes at all.
