Startup Canada tour promotes entreprenurism in Alberta

Edmonton, – Startup Canada <http://www.startupcan.ca> arrives in Alberta May 31 for more than a week of events with local entrepreneurs and enterprise support organizations as part of its National Tour to celebrate and inspire entrepreneurship across Canada.
Startup Canada is Canada’s first entrepreneur-led, national movement to enhance the nation’s competitiveness and prosperity through entrepreneurship. Startup Canada’s National Tour is traveling coast to coast to engage more than 25,000 Canadians and 250 partner organizations through a series of Town Hall Meetings and Fringe Events, and to develop community-driven solutions to challenges facing entrepreneurs today.
From May 31 – June 9, Startup Canada’s Alberta Tour stops include Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat. Each city has a slate of events that will engage participants to brainstorm community-led solutions to the challenges facing Canadian entrepreneurs today.

Where: Various locations in Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, and Medicine Hat
Interviews: Guest speakers, the Startup Canada team, and local entrepreneurs will be available
