So they’re helping us understand, are we seeing the water moving from the hills into the wetlands and are we getting enough. What is the quality and the quantity of the water that is being delivered to the wetland.

Carla Wytrykush says another researcher is investigating how the number of trees changes the way water moves through the boreal landscape.

Thanks today to Syncrude.

FOR INNOVATION ANTHOLOGY
I’M CHERYL CROUCHER

Guest

,

, , , ,

Sponsor

Syncrude

Program Date: 2016-10-20

Ecologist Carla Wytrykush talks about research on hydrology at Syncrude’s recreated landscape called the Sandhill Fen (Syncrude)

[29,59,19,27

post-2088","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-oil-sands","category-syncrude","category-water","category-women-in-science","has-post-title","has-post-date","has-post-category","has-post-tag","has-post-comment","has-post-author","
["GET
