{"id":2045,"date":"2016-07-14T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-07-14T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.innovationanthology.com\/import\/2018\/02\/01\/innovation-anthology-796\/"},"modified":"2018-05-10T19:47:20","modified_gmt":"2018-05-10T19:47:20","slug":"innovation-anthology-796","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.innovationanthology.com\/import\/2016\/07\/14\/innovation-anthology-796\/","title":{"rendered":"#796: CCEMC Grand Challenge:  Enerkem"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/innovationanthology.com\/uploads\/Innovation Anthology 796.mp3\">Download MP3 Link<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In 2014 Alberta&rsquo;s Climate Change and Emissions Management Corporation issued a Grand Challenge. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Could we develop new technologies to convert waste carbon dioxide into valuable products?<\/p>\n<p>Enerkem is one of 24 recipients of CCEMC funding to meet that challenge.<\/p>\n<p>David Lynch is Enerkem&rsquo;s General Manager of Research and Development in Edmonton.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">DAVID  LYNCH: <\/span><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">&nbsp;Firstly we take that carbon dioxide and we convert it to carbon  monoxide, And we have a proprietary driver forming process that we&rsquo;ve  developed to do that. &nbsp;
