{"id":1808,"date":"2015-08-11T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-08-11T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.innovationanthology.com\/import\/2018\/02\/01\/innovation-anthology-706\/"},"modified":"2018-02-25T21:31:05","modified_gmt":"2018-02-25T21:31:05","slug":"innovation-anthology-706","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.innovationanthology.com\/import\/2015\/08\/11\/innovation-anthology-706\/","title":{"rendered":"Innovation Anthology #706:"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/innovationanthology.com\/uploads\/Innovation Anthology 706.mp3\">Download MP3 Link<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Consumer backlash over the excessive use of antibiotics in farm operations is forcing industry to look for alternatives. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s  where <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Dr. Carlo Montemagno <\/span>believes Ingenuity Lab can make a  difference, and that&#8217;s with a little help from nano science and  biological systems.<\/p>\n<p>Ingenuity Lab is researching new technology  to vaccinate hogs, thereby reducing the need for antibiotics &nbsp;and  hopefully, reducing costs for farmers.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">DR CARLO MONTEMAGNO:<\/span> &nbsp;<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">One  of the things that we&#8217;re developing is a solid state vaccine system that  would allow us to take the vaccine, make it into a solid state form  that you can put in animals&#8217;
