LORNE BABIUK: <\/b><em>My mind did not go into mush just because I moved from active research to being an administrator. And in fact I was fortunate to just get a multi-million dollar grant from the <b>IDRC<\/b> to develop a vaccine against <b>Riff Valley fever<\/b> which is a problem in Africa.  However, I\u2019m concerned that it could come to North America and Europe just like West Nile did .  And that disease is much more devastating than West Nile virus is.
