As a writer and broadcaster, Cheryl Croucher brings over thirty years of media experience to Innovation Anthology.  Cheryl was born in Edmonton and graduated from the University of Alberta with a BA (Special) in Political Science and Sociology. During her fifteen years with CBC Radio, Cheryl worked both behind the scenes and on-air in Radio Current Affairs.  On air, Cheryl built a strong reputation as a nationally syndicated consumer commentator and later became well known as CBC Radio's first environment commentator.

At CKUA Radio, Cheryl co-produced EcoFile  and then wrote and produced the very popular program Heritage Trails, a daily series of 500 vignettes on Alberta history.  In 2001, Cheryl initiated Innovation Alberta.  an independent web-based audio program with an international audience which aired on CKUA Radio until 2008. The Innovation Anthology series has aired on CKUA Radio since January 2007. The Alberta Chamber of Resources presented Cheryl with its prestigious award for Excellence in Journalism in 2002.

Yellow Pencil Inc

Web designer Paul Bellows of Yellow Pencil built the Innovation Alberta website in 2002, so it was only natural that he and Cheryl work together again on the new Innovation Anthology website.  In 2006, Yellow Pencil has grown to a very busy company that includes Paul’s brother Dave and a team of talented programmers and designers.   Scott Koladich worked his magic with the program and Josh Loewen designed the artwork and graphics.
